"All of the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself."
- Chuck Close -

I worked today on a practice I found online.  The goal was to explore as many different ways that you can combine letters to form a word.  I chose the word Monday, well, because it is Monday.   The exercise forces you to  get out of your comfort zone, change speeds, break the rules...which I did...a little.  I didn't realize when I started how hard it would be to challenge myself to come up with more than just one way to write a word.  Wait, that sounded weird, but it's true...more often than not I look at a word and see it written one way, not sure why.  Maybe it's the way I've always seen the word written or maybe my mind is closed off or maybe I'm just tired?  I couldn't tell you at this point, but what I can say is that this exercise really helped me begin the process of breaking that barrier and I enjoyed it.  Now, I didn't do the 25 different ways that the blogger had suggested, but I did do quite a few.  I think I'll continue this practice at least once a week, maybe I'll get to that 25 and if I'm really lucky 100.  Although, her 100 was with only 1 letter...impressive though.  For now, here is what I've got :)

Hello!  My name is Renee Marie Fraticelli. I am currently enrolled at Flathead Valley Community College . My course study is Graphic Design. I have just one semester left and couldn't be more excited to get out there and work in the field.

I am also a mother of four. Three of which are my beautiful step-children, Elaine, Alan and Kristen, and one of which is my lovely biological daughter, Juniper.  She will be 4 this April and I am excited to see her transition out of "Three-nager" 'tude.  LOL

I met my husband 10 years ago at an 80's-themed, birthday/New Year's party. I was dressed as Madonna, he was wearing a letterman's jacket with nerdy glasses and poindexter hair. It was love! We hit it off from the moment we met...side note: a game had started and he knew all of the answers...this was my guy! I'm not competitive or anything. We went on a date a week later and the rest is history.
