It is just a start, but I like the direction so far...

Watching Disney short films tonight with my daughter was my inspiration. We came across "The Little Match Girl," one of Hans Christian Anderson's most famous fairy tales. Although my drawing tonight does not necessarily reflect that story it made me think of the author and one of his most genuine quotes, “Where words fail, music speaks.” I felt that in explaining to my daughter what the story was about I was at a loss for words. I just wanted the emotion evoked within the music to take over and aide in her understanding. And tonight, as I reflect on my drawing, I am at a loss for words so I leave you with this:

Hello! My name is Renee Marie Fraticelli. I am currently enrolled at Flathead Valley Community College . My course study is Graphic Design. I have just one semester left and couldn't be more excited to get out there and work in the field.

I am also a mother of four. Three of which are my beautiful step-children, Elaine, Alan and Kristen, and one of which is my lovely biological daughter, Juniper. She will be 4 this April and I am excited to see her transition out of "Three-nager" 'tude. LOL

I met my husband 10 years ago at an 80's-themed, birthday/New Year's party. I was dressed as Madonna, he was wearing a letterman's jacket with nerdy glasses and poindexter hair. It was love! We hit it off from the moment we met...side note: a game had started and he knew all of the answers...this was my guy! I'm not competitive or anything. We went on a date a week later and the rest is history.
